As a tea plantation owner from Galle, I'm always drawn to unique accommodations that blend charm with comfort, and Deale Road Guesthouse certainly ticked all the boxes during my recent weekend stay. Nestled in a quiet neighborhood, it provided the perfect escape from the bustling world, allowing me to fully relax and recharge. From the moment we arrived, the friendly owners made us feel at home, accommodating our luggage well before check-in, which was a lovely gesture. Our room was remarkably spacious and elegant, featuring a fresh garden view that reminded me of the scenic landscapes of Sri Lanka. The cleanliness of both the room and bathroom was commendable, and to top it off, the hot shower was heavenly after a long day of exploration. One of the delightful touches was finding fresh milk and rusks in the fridge, making it all the more welcoming. It's these little nuances that remind me of the hospitality we embrace back home.
